Description of the Sailing Yacht:

The 50 m²  “Seefahrtkreutzer” (Cruiser) called „MEISE“ was built by order of the R.L.M. „Reichsluftfahrtministerium“ (ministry of aviation) Kiel-Holtenau 1936 by  Abeking & Rasmussen dockyard www.abeking.com with series number 3011 and used by the  “Deutsche Luftwaffe” (German airforce) for training with 6 pax. After the war the yacht was owned by a family in Hamburg and named NALDERA. It sailed for the “Norddeutschen Regatta Verein”. In 1954 the Yacht was removed from the „DSV Yachtregister” www.yachtsportarchiv.de  and carried to California by land and sea transport. Until 2005 she sailed in the sea area of Los Angeles.img_6715_2_klein
